The House of C·A·L

Scandinavian minimalism,
African soul.

A luxury-inspired fragrance and wellness house by Caroline Adhiambo Lutta — solid perfumes, balms and scents told as stories, memories, moods and experiences.

African landscape at golden hour

The founder

C·A·L Perfumery is the work of Caroline Adhiambo Lutta — a fragrance house built on a quiet conviction that Africa's olfactive heritage deserves to be told in the language of luxury, not as a footnote.

We compose in small batches between two ateliers — one in Nairobi, one in Sweden. From Kenya we draw rose absolute, oud, myrrh, frankincense, honey and the warm beeswax that has scented this continent for centuries. From the North we borrow clean light, cool air and a quieter restraint. Every formula is tested on skin, in real light, in real conversation — never in a vacuum.

Our fragrances are not designed to be liked by everyone. They are designed to be remembered by someone.

What we stand for

Healing. Identity. Elegance.

Healing

Wellness scents and balms made for repair, ritual and quiet self-return.

Identity

Fragrance as declaration — culture, femininity and resilience worn close to the skin.

Elegance

Matte luxury packaging, black and gold restraint, minimalism with warmth.

The craft

Slow craft

Macerated for weeks, never rushed. Each blend rests until it sings.

From two continents

African botanicals from Kenya, Nordic restraint from Sweden — blended into one house.

Two ateliers

Designed, blended and bottled between our Nairobi studio and our Swedish workshop.

Our statement

“Fragrance crafted through culture, healing and elegance.”
